In this article, we will guide you through the process of updating Work Orders (WOs) using the MPindustries Mobile App. Follow along as we take you through the key modules that make work order management intuitive and efficient.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Login and Initial View:
- After logging into the mobile app, you'll be greeted by the weekly view displaying Work Orders in various states: "To Do," "In Progress," and "Done." For this example, we'll select a Work Order in the "To Do" stage.
Information Module:
- You'll see several modules, but the initial view will be the "Info" module. Here, you'll find options to change the "stage" if necessary, along with information about the "Asset" and the "Assigned User."
Activities Module:
- After reviewing the main asset information, navigate to the "Activities" module.
- Start the activities for the Work Order by clicking the "Start" button.
- Complete the tasks listed in the "Check List." You can also view measurements and readings, and add notes as needed.
Resources Module:
- In the "Resources" module, under the "Costs" field, you can add (+) products, inventory items, services, or other resources. Remember to click "Save" after entering the information.
Labor and Files:
- In addition to the "Costs" field, you'll find the "Labor" section where you can log worked hours if your technician has additional labor costs.
- You can also add files, such as images from your gallery or photos taken with your device's camera, in the "Files" field.
Signatures Module:
- The technician or requester can sign the Work Order in the "Signatures" module.
Finalizing the Work Order:
- Once all activities are completed and information is captured, return to the "Info" module.
- Update the next stage as required. If the Work Order is completed, select the "Done" option.
Using previous steps, you can efficiently manage and update Work Orders using the MPindustries Mobile App, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
