Basic Configuration of the Assets Module

Configuring the view of the Assets module will help you access different perspectives of the information, facilitating decision-making. Here are all the buttons you will find in this module and how they can assist you in your activities.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Access the Assets Module:

    • Click on the "Assets" module. In the upper left corner of this screen, you can customize how you want to view your information. You can choose between 'List Mode' and 'Tree Mode'.


  2. View Customization:

    • Configuring the view of the Assets module will help you access different perspectives of the information, facilitating decision-making. Here are all the buttons you will find in this module and how they can assist you in your activities.
  3. Buttons on the Right:

    • On the right side, you will find the buttons 'Create Asset', 'Actions', and 'Settings' (⚙).
  4. Actions Menu:

    • Clicking on "Actions" will display a list of options:
      • Mass Update: Allows you to update a field for multiple assets at once.
      • Delete: Lets you delete assets individually or in bulk.
      • Assign Users: Assigns a user from your organization to an asset.
      • Update Location: Helps you organize your equipment.
      • Import: Facilitates the bulk upload of new assets.
      • Create Activity: Lets you create an activity for your assets.
      • Update Readings: Updates the readings for an asset.
      • Plan: Allows you to plan activities for your assets.
      • Update Organization: Updates the organization of the assets.
      • Notifications: Adds notifications to keep your team updated on statuses.
      • Update Geographic Location: Geolocates your assets.
      • QR Code: Generates QR codes to identify your assets.

  5. Settings Icon:

    • Click on the yellow "Settings" gear icon (⚙) to display a table of options.

  6. Configure Fields:

    • In this table, you will find a list of all the fields in the assets form. To the right of each field, there is a checkbox (✓) and a dots icon (). Check the box to select the fields you want to display in the table. Drag and drop the dots icon () to arrange the fields in the desired order. Once you have selected and organized the fields, click "Save" to apply these changes to the module view.
