Generating Work Orders

In this guide, you will learn different methods to generate work orders. Follow these detailed steps for each approach.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Generate from a Previously Created Activity:

    • Navigate to "Activities" and click on it.

  2. Select the Activity:

    • Choose the specific activity you want to generate a work order from.

  3. Create Work Order:

    • Click on "Actions" and then select "Generate WO". This will create a work order for the selected activity.

  4. Locate the Work Order:

    • Go to "WOs" to find the newly created work order.

  5. Move Work Order to Another Stage:

    • By default, the work order will appear in the initial stage selected. To change its stage, select the work order and drag it to the next stage with a sustained click.

  6. Access Calendar View:

    • In the WO tab, click on "Calendar".

  7. Create New Work Order in Calendar View:

    • The calendar will display work orders in a timetable format. To create a new order, click on the "Create WO" button.

  8. Fill in Work Order Form:

    • You will be prompted to fill out a form to create the work order. Select the organization to which the asset belongs.

  9. Provide a Descriptive Name:

    • Enter a descriptive name for the work order that reflects the tasks to be performed. Select the priority level, highlighting it if necessary.

  10. Set Estimated Time:

    • Enter the estimated time required for the activities.

  11. Select Activity Type:

    • Choose the type of activity.


  12. Choose Initial Stage:
    1. Select the initial stage of the work order.

  13. Add Activities:

    • Add the activities to be carried out within the work order.

  14. Add Activity Costs:

    • Use the button on the right to add costs associated with the activities.


  15. Include Labor Costs:

    • In this example, we will use services to add labor costs to the work order.


  16. Save and Create Work Order:

    • Click "Save and create WO" to register the work order in the calendar.

  17. View Created Work Order:

    • The work order will appear in the stage chosen earlier.


  18. Generate Work Order from Table View:

    • Click on the table view and repeat the previous process to create an WO.

  19. Work Order Table View:

    • The work orders will now be displayed in a table format. Click on "Create WO" to access the same form and fill in the necessary data.

Using previous steps, you can efficiently generate and manage work orders using different views and methods, ensuring all necessary details are accurately captured and organized.
